Sea World

Our friends , from El Paso, met us in San Diego on Saturday and we all went to Sea World. The kids had the greatest time playing together and the adults enjoyed the beer samples (talk about the perfect amusement park). As always the shows were amazing. The only down side was it was a bit chilly and of course I had forgetten the kids coats that day, so we baought them fleeces at the park.
Chloe loved the sea lion show, she thought they were hysterical.

Kaiya Mae

We took a nice cruise of San Diego bay. Kaiya really enjoyed the fresh air and loved being in the front Snugli. She spent most her time kicking and talking to all the strangers that stopped to talk with her.

Midway

We took a tour of the Midway in San Diego. It was amazing to see all the history of the ship. The kids had a great time crawling around in the cockpits of all the planes.

Legoland

The kids got to drive boats in the Mini San Fran Bay. They did an amazing job building the Golden Gate Bridge.

They even had a little water park that Chloe had a blast playing in. The first day we were there it was around 76 degrees, the second day was a little bit cooler so we didn't play in the water.

Not everyone was happy about being at the park. Kaiya had one small meltdown as you can tell by her crocodile tear in the corner of her eye. Overall she did great. She spent 4 days in the front Snugli and I felt like I was pregnant again!

John was in hog heaven when we found the Star Wars Lego figures!

The kids loved the rides. I highly recommend this park for people with younger kids. Chloe could ride all the rides except for 2 of them and John could ride them all.

Zoo

During Spring Break I took the kids to the zoo. They had a great time!

More Easter pictures..

Kaiya slept through the Easter egg hunt but woke up in time to get some good pictures. Ignore the drool all over my shirt, Kaiya is busy trying to get her second tooth and loves to chomp on anything she can get her mouth around.

Easter

The kids had a great Easter Sunday. They got new Easter outfits. Chloe loved her new dress, in case you couldn't tell. We had a wonderfule Easter egg hunt in the back yard. The weather was great, sunny and 70 degrees.

Too cute

Kaiya is getting so big, her hair is getting long on the top. She looks like an old man with a bad comb over.

GO PILOTS!

Couldn't resist the cute shirt! Though the Pilots failed to make it to March madness we're still supportive.

Big Mac

Mac is quite a character, he is not a big fan of of grass on his bare feet. Every time that Ed set him down he would try and lift up his feet. He's quite the little yoga master. He'll get use to it in no time in Spokane.

Cousins

Ed, Tine and Mac came to visit this weekend. It's amazing how quickly the cousins are growing. Mac attack is at least twice as big as Kaiya but so far they seem to enjoy watching and poking one another. We only had one small crying session when Mac tried to share his toy with Kaiya and it ended up being a thump on the head. I'm sure Kaiya will eventually get him back!

Floor Hockey

Here's a few shots of the kids playing floor hockey. Chloe really got into it which was surprising since she was the only girl in her class. John had fun playing in the 5-6 year old group and was finally on a team without his sister.
