NWC Volleyball

Went to Yakima to watch NWC Volleyball compete at State. So proud of Hayden Lynn and her team, they took second at state. The kids enjoyed seeing the cousins, Kaiya Mae was "Dooper's" best buddy. John loved keeping track of all the numbers and we had a constant update of the difference in scores.

One of the local stores had face painting one weekend and Chloe became a tiger girl! She was so thrilled, she wanted to keep the paint on for days but we had to wash it off eventually.

Halloween

Well we all managed to be healthy enough to go trick-or-treating this year (barely). After a 3 hour nap we all went out with some friends. Kaiya did NOT want to dress up but loved the kitty cat face Chloe had so allowed me to paint her face. I'm hoping next year she'll actually wear a costume. Aunt Cara made the kids wonderful trick-or-treating bags which they all loved, Kaiya is still carrying hers around telling everyone "MINE".

We spent a sunny Sunday afternoon hiking in a local park. Kaiya walked most of the way holding John or Chloe's hand, it was very cute!

We were lucky enough to have one of my very best friends visit us in early October. Courtney spent a few days with us hanging out and we even went to the zoo. The girls ADORE the Portland Zoo. Kaiya always asks for "Uppee" at every exhibit. Sometimes I forget how small Miss Kaiya is but the bottom picture give you her perspective when looking at the lions. I'm sure she's thinking, what in the world are we looking at!
