Aquarium

We had a great day at the aquarium. Chloe fell in love with the penguins, they were the most active we have ever seen them. They would swim to the side of the glass and rub up against it like they wanted to be pet. It made me think of the scene in Happy Feet where the penguin is trying to talk to all the humans. Kaiya loved looking at all the fish and left grubby little handprints everywhere. John found all the interactive games to play with. We missed the Tuna feeding which is one of our favorite exhibits, maybe we'll catch it next time!

Hams...

The kids love posing for pictures. We had a gorgeous weekend here. Also wanted to add some pictures in that showed Kaiya's two little teeth. She's had them for about a month and loves to eat cereal and tries to chew with them. It looks as if her top teeth are getting ready to pop out too.

Happy kids

It took Isabella a little while to warm up to Jay but he managed to get a smile from her!

Family shots at Sea World.

John, Chloe, and Logan had the greatest time playing together. It was great to see the Candelaria family, even if it was a quick visit.

Miss Kaiya got a bit of sun/windburn at the park but she was quite the trooper. She even got a Manatee in a purple purse out of the deal. It took her all of 5 seconds to completely soak her toy after she chewed on it on the car ride back to the hotel.

Sea World

Our friends , from El Paso, met us in San Diego on Saturday and we all went to Sea World. The kids had the greatest time playing together and the adults enjoyed the beer samples (talk about the perfect amusement park). As always the shows were amazing. The only down side was it was a bit chilly and of course I had forgetten the kids coats that day, so we baought them fleeces at the park.
Chloe loved the sea lion show, she thought they were hysterical.

Kaiya Mae

We took a nice cruise of San Diego bay. Kaiya really enjoyed the fresh air and loved being in the front Snugli. She spent most her time kicking and talking to all the strangers that stopped to talk with her.

Midway

We took a tour of the Midway in San Diego. It was amazing to see all the history of the ship. The kids had a great time crawling around in the cockpits of all the planes.

Legoland

The kids got to drive boats in the Mini San Fran Bay. They did an amazing job building the Golden Gate Bridge.

They even had a little water park that Chloe had a blast playing in. The first day we were there it was around 76 degrees, the second day was a little bit cooler so we didn't play in the water.

Not everyone was happy about being at the park. Kaiya had one small meltdown as you can tell by her crocodile tear in the corner of her eye. Overall she did great. She spent 4 days in the front Snugli and I felt like I was pregnant again!

John was in hog heaven when we found the Star Wars Lego figures!

The kids loved the rides. I highly recommend this park for people with younger kids. Chloe could ride all the rides except for 2 of them and John could ride them all.

Zoo

During Spring Break I took the kids to the zoo. They had a great time!
