Who's your Daddy? I'm not really sure... Just kidding, thanks for the great onsie Oliver! Only a true Star Wars fan would send a little girl a Darth Vader onsie. Jay only has one thing to say..."Kaiya...I am you father."
Can't believe Kaiya is 3 months old. Jay is trying to brainwash her already, you'll notice the OS hat (we're not big fans of the new Oregon State University symbol). Though I have to admit she looks pretty good in it.
For those of you who didn't know, Jay officiated football this fall. Here's a couple of pictures in full gear. He looks pretty good for a zebra!
Okay Jay says calling him a zebra is not politically correct, feel free to yell in his ear next time you see him, he's really good at ignoring insults!
The girls got dressed up for Chloe's X-mas program. Couldn't resist a photo opportunity. John slept through the whole program and wouldn't cooperate for a picture. He just wanted to go to bed, you can barely see his feet in the left hand side.
Kaiya is all smiles now. When she looks at you she has the biggest open mouthed grin ever. She is so close to bursting out laughing. As you can see she could take after her mom and be a physicist when she grows up, she has the hair for it!
If you remember back in October when we were carving pumpkins John and Chloe decided to plant some pumpkin seeds in our front yard. For weeks after John kept reminding me to water his pumpkins. The other day as I was getting out of our truck I looked down and lo and behold we have three little pumpkin plnats growing in our front yard. They had been mowed over a few times but they are still growing. John and Chloe couldn't be happier.
We took Mom and Pat to Farmer's Market. Chloe showed us her moves and danced around while we ate dinner. The family shot would have been great if I didn't have a giant bite of messy beef ribs in my mouth!
We had a great visit with Nanny and Pat. They got to spend a couple of days with just the kids and I got to show them around the area one day. Kaiya loved the attention and spent quite a bit of time talking with Pat.
This years peanut hunt was as crazy as ever. The kids did very well. John got 38 and Chloe got 17 peanuts. Grandpa Jim and Kaiya had to take a break after all the excitement.
We spent Thanksgiving in Medford. The kids had a great time raking Grandma's leaves. John got to use the leaf blower, I don't know if it was more helpful or more harmful but he had fun. Chloe had more fun walking through the giant leave piles.
