Cold day at the zoo

We spent the first day of Spring Break at the zoo. It was freezing but the kids were troopers. It was the first time Kaiya really noticed the animals, she spent the day pointing and laughing. The highlight was the giraffe who came up to the window, right next to John and Chloe, and started licking it with his giant tongue. He then decided to give Kaiya some "kisses" which she loved. She kept trying to pet him through the glass. We left before it really started to rain, thank goodness. Now we are doing laundry and packing for the beach!
