How quickly they grow

I can't believe how big Kaiya is getting. She's all cheeks and crazy hair. She's really starting to smile, we'll try and get a picture soon to post.

Carmel Mission

Aquarium

We took Gramma V to the aquarium. Kaiya slept through the whole thing. The kids had fun looking at all the sharks and fish.

Home Depot

Home Depot has a wonderful program for the kids. The first Saturday of every month they have a project that the kids can build for free. This month was a pirate ship, Gramma V helped John and I helped Chloe. We had just come from their soccer game, that's why the kids are wearing matching outfits!

Checkers

John and Gramma V played some checkers while Kaiya laid back and took it all in. I'm not sure who won the game because John kept changing the rules and moving Gramma V's pieces.

Halloween

We had a wonderful Halloween. John wanted to be a "good guy robot" or otherwise known as a clone trooper for all you Star Wars buffs. Chloe was a monkey and Kaiya was a Pumpkin.

Hungry Hungry Hippos

Aunt Krista, Jay, and the kids played a mean game of hungry hungry hippos. John won with capturing 10 marbles in one game. Jay's hippo turned out to have acid relux and kept spitting his marbles out.

Carving pumpkins

We had a great time carving pumpkins. John did not like the pumpkin guts so he planted pumpkin seeds in our yard instead. We made a John, Chloe, and Kaiya pumpkin!

Visitors

We have been lucky to have so many great visitors, Grandma V gets to visit for three weeks and Aunt Krista flew down for the weekend. The kids have been having a blast seeing everyone.

Chloe's last day at Carla's

Chloe celebrated her fourth B-day on her last day at Carla's (her daycare/pre-school). She started a new pre-school on Oct 29th, which she loves. She's going to miss her best friend, Grace, though.

Ballet socks

Couldn't resist taking a picture of Kaiya in her ballet socks.

Feeding the ducks

One of the first places the kids wanted to take Grandma V was to feed the ducks at the park. The geese got a little to close and we had to shoo them away but some of them waited patiently for their food. I find it's a great way to clean out our pantry, we fed them cereal, crackers, and tortillas.

Beach

It's hard to believe that we could go to the beach on Oct 22 and still get in the water. Though if you noticed it was only the kids who were brave enough to stick their feet in!

More quilts

Aunt Cara has been busy. Thank you so much for the beautiful quilts for the girls. The kids also love their rosary's.

John and Chloe

Had to add a couple more pictures of the big sister and brother. If you can't tell Chloe is quite the Diva! She loves her stuffed dog in the watermelon purse and will carry it around where ever we go. John loves to wear hats and is quite the ham.
