Cooper's visit

Cooper came and participated in the Skyhawk's B-Ball camp with John this summer. It turned out to be record heat in Portland for the week. We spent most of the time at the Lake or kiddy pools. Notice that Kaiya Mae got the big pool, leaving Coop with the tiny pool. They became quite the duo that week!

More summer fun...

The great thing about seeing family so often is that Kaiya has really started to warm up to everyone. She gets so excited to see everyone and she even let's Aunt Krista hold her hand.

Cooper is covered in grass, which the kids thought was hilarious. I think he looks like Joseph in this picture. I'm not sure what that says about Joe!

Sticker fun!

As you can see we have had a busy summer visiting with family. The kids adore the beach and I think we could stay all summer.

Bailey's visit

We were very lucky this summer and got a chance to have our nephew Bailey come visit for a week. We took him to OMSI, the zoo, hiking, and showed him the sight of downtown. The kids enjoyed having him visit and hope he can come back again soo!

The girls

There are only three girl cousins (out of 10) on my side of the family. Hayden being the oldest (14) and then my two. It's always great when we get them together because Chloe and Kaiya have really grown attached to Hayden Lynn. Here are a few candid shots that Hayden took this weekend! My favorites are the sunglasses and tiara's.

Fourth of July at the beach

My favorite picture of Chloe. She loves to play in the ocean and after 10 shots I managed to get the perfect picture.

As always the beach is the greatest place to spend time with friends and family. We had a great time with the Smith's and Hathaway's.

For Courtney and Joe

Chloe loves her Princess tanktop. It goes great with her attitude! Thanks for the gift, I'm glad it fits her finally.

The third one gets away with everything....

Oh to be the third kid. By now Jay and I just shake our heads as our little daredevil swings/climbs/hangs off of everything she can get her grubby little hands on. Surprisingly she is not accident prone "knock on wood". Of course big sis Chloe is busy teaching her all the tricks.

City of Bridges

We bought John a "new to him" otherwise known as a used bike last weekend. This weekend we decided to try out the new wheels at the Bridge Pedal. We signed up for the 6 bridge ride which is 14 miles. John did fabulous and the girls enjoyed a nice ride in the bike stroller. We stopped on every bridge and enjoyed the views. By the end I think Jay and I were the only tired ones and he was only tired because he had to haul around an extra 70 pounds. Next year maybe we will be able to talk Chloe into riding. Eventually we hope to work up to the 11 bridge ride which is 37 miles.
